Bailu is a Vidyadhara, a self-reincarnating race of draconic people who typically live for around six-seven hundred years before entering into a new incarnation cycle.
Bailu does not possess the same level of power as previous high elders as the power of dragon transmutation was not passed on intact to her, however, she is possessed of some serious potential-- if only she can learn to control it. She is, however, a very skilled healer trained by the Alchemy Commission.
She is mumblemumble years old (not actually known OOCly, possibly hundreds). She believes her growth has been stunted and canon signs are pointing to her being correct on this assumption. She is at the very least culturally a teenager even if she physically looks younger.

Bailu was not always a Vidyadhara unlike the rest of her species-- her past incarnation was of a Foxian lady named Baiheng.
